Open Question: Why is U.S. President facing an uphill battle with Republicans?
Because he is trying to pull America out of the toilet that Republicans had put us in over the previous 8 years… remember Bush inherited a SURPLUS from Bill Clinton whom by the way is…. a DEMOCRAT.
Face the FACTS.
Bush shredded the very foundation of the United States of America by basically rewriting the constitution to the point that he was a dictator.
Oppose him and you were automatically called un-patriot and a terrorist.
At the same time Bush used the 9/11 attacks to wage war on a country that was not responsible for it so that he could use no bid contracts etc to transfer public money (OUR money tax payer money) to the RICH private sector i.e. Halliburton/KBR.
When his time was up Bush then again boldly took RICH private DEBT i.e. WALL STREET and transferred that debt to the public by way of 750 BILLION dollars of public money. ( yes again took OUR taxpayer money to pay off dept of rich irresponsible elite).
As if that was not bad enough now that we have someone in office that is trying to salvage what is left of the American economy after the Republicans were done raping it, we have people trying to tell us that our U.S. President is a Communist and that they hope he fails in trying to fix our very desperate situation.
The rich are now even using the media i.e. Fox News to basically undermine anything the president does. They have become an infomercial for failure.
On the same Fox News network you have people like Glenn Beck coaxing people to revolt against Obama.
Was it a coincidence that the same guy -Rupert Murdock- that owns Fox News also owns the NY Post that published the cartoon of monkey being shot/someone else will have to write the stimulus?
Sean Hannity even incites TREASON on his website that ask Americans which form of revolt against Obama they favored. Armed rebellion?
Sean Hannity , Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh are truly wolfs in shepards clothing, trying to lead their sheep of a cliff while sitting back and making millions and laughing all the way to the bank.

Heck Sean Hannity even endorsed billionaire crook Allen Stanfords gold coin scheme in which his own sheep bought into and lost life savings because Hannity said Stanford was “good as gold”

Open Question: Is the United States really becoming Socialist?
I currently go to USC and a lot of people have been talking about this recently. In my frat especially I find more and more conversations end up becoming debates on this. One of my friends was watching the news and said that when over 50% of the population is under work for the government the country has become Socialist by definition. My stepdad is a republican and was telling me that the private sector of the population is shrinking drastically, and paying for that public sector through increased taxes especially. In one of my classes two students were saying that although Socialism is an ideal government but people do not realize it cannot work with US borders the way they are. That Socialism takes money from the rich and gives it to the poor and immigrants come for this very purpose. I am not democratic or republican, actually I thought I was even democratic lol, i voted for Obama, but now that I’m hearing more and more people talk about the US becoming socialist I began wondering, and worrying actually because although people do not like to believe it, it is almost fact we cannot trust any government, at least any rational person can see this. Governments naturally become corrupt. I’ve also heard that because we have a democracy this probably won’t happen, but either way I want to see what people say.
Open Question: Why do people get mad when you won’t let them take advantage of you?
I came up in a very poor area. However, througout my life since a youngster, I have always had. Not spoiled, but I had more than the majority of my friends. My parents were not rich, but provided for me all they could. Once I grew up, I worked to earn so that I could continue to have. I never flaunted. Because of this MANY of my so called friends have used me or tried to use me for stuff. I never asked for anything in return because I didn’t need or I could find a way (i.e., job) to get whatever I wanted. I valued their company and so called friendship. Anyway, after wising up I stopped giving people “free rides” and “paying their way”. All of my friendships ended in relation to this and I became very jaded. This caused me to give up on making friends for years (literally, like 6 years of being a loner with absolutely NO friends from ages 22-28). I just threw myself into my career and came up nicely.
Now, as an adult, I have some new so called friends. One female friend in particular. We are just friends, however she always assumes that I am going to pay her way. We flirt sometimes, but I’m not trying to have sex with her. She seems like a good friend but, I don’t know sometimes. Like, she’ll call and ask me to go to the movies, so I’ll say “you got money, right?”, then she’ll cop an attitude like I’m doing her wrong. She has a job and a boyfriend so what am I gonna kiss her ass for? If I call and want to hang out, I’ll cover cuz I invited.
I’ve lost many friendships in my life over money people owe but never wanted to pay and people have distanced themselves out of guilt. Therefore, I refuse to ever be taken advantage of again by people who have nothing to offer (or just flat out don’t wanna pay).
So.
Why do people get mad when you won’t let them take advantage of you?
At what point did wearing your pants so low that your whole ass is out become cool…for dudes?
