Open Question: Need to seen a rented home..?
My husband is in the Navy but we own a home in our home state. We rented it out – started trying to rent it in January but it wasn’t rented until April – but I’ve since lost my job and the property management company was only able to get 1050 per month for the home but the mortgage payment is 1450 so we are paying out of pocket, plus the property management fees.
The management company says that the tenant signed a lease for a year (ending April/ May 2010) and if we sell the house, they get to still stay in it. I never received a copy of what they signed so I don’t know what it says, exactly.
Any help would be appreciated…
Open Question: What is the best education path I should pursue?
I have worked in F&B all my life. I’ve held bartending positions, server, banquet captain and management. After waisting most of my life goofing off and not going to school, I have decided that I am still 35 years young and not 35 years old. I would like to pursue an education degree to help me advance into the business world. My interest is F&B, Property Management, Real Estate and Health. I would really like to do one or two things. Pursue education to obtain a position as GM or Director for a high end Hotel or Resort. I would like to hear from you people what would be the best path for me to take. Please keep in mind that I am 35 years of age. Thank you all of your answers.
